Hello, in the Q3, when I turn on focus peaking, I still see it when I press the shutter button halfway to activate the set aperture. However, in the Q2, after pressing the shutter halfway, I no longer see it. Can someone confirm if there is a difference between these two camera models, or maybe I have some setting disabled in the Q2?

1.fp on q2/q3, when 1/2 pressed goes away...to me it looks almost as if af kicked in and corrected focusing

2.just curious, why would you use manual focus on these AF cameras with a fixed AF lens?

When shooting through an obstacle, this is sometimes the only way to focus.

You posed the question why anyone would manually focussed.

You’re on a public forum, anyone can chime in…it seems you only want responses from people who agree with you?

Time to put on your big boy pants,

You can find out how nice I am.

If you’re ever in Edmonton on a Friday, drop into my office for whiskey Friday’s.  Everyone plays nice after a scotch or two 😀
