Ich weiß nicht, ob die das weiterhin anbieten: https://myfunleader.com/products/contax-g45-f2-to-leica-m-conversion

Vielleicht mal hier im Forum mit dem Stichwort „funleader“ suchen.

Sorry, I thought your question was posted in the German part of the Forum.

Translation: I dont know if they still offer the conversion. Perhaps you search in the Forum with „funleader“.

As @UliWer mentioned, Funleader (https://myfunleader.com/products/contax-g45-f2-to-leica-m-conversion) sells Contax G lens conversion kit for M-mount. Currently, only G45 lens conversion kit is in stock and G35 lens conversion kit is out of stock. I used Funleader G45 conversion kit and pretty satisfied with the quality of kit.

An eBay seller (https://www.ebay.com/str/reworklens) also sells G lens conversion kit that includes G35(RF coupled). However, I haven't tried this kit. I'm curious if others have tried the ebay seller's G35 conversion kit.

This is no simple adapter. It requires completely disassembling the G lens and reassembling it as an M lens. Not for the faint-hearted, I would think. And not inexpensive. Personally, I would sell the Contax lens and pick up a Zeiss ZM. It will cost less than the value of the lens+adapter and probably perform better. They're both made by Cosina anyway. But if you want a challenge, go for it.

The Funleader adapter kits for the G45 and G35 are well built, work as expected (ie, they look, feel and operate like a native M lens) and come with detailed instructions. The conversion is adjustable and fully reversible. I'm not sure whether they are still available. Perhaps ask them? They are helpful and responsive.

I have repacked g45 with reworklens set it’s 10 minutes job even for a person without basic technical skill, 4 screws and you’re done. There’s a step by step youtube film. My only complaint is it doesn’t focus to 0.5 m. You can look up skyllaney’s as they do repacks as well.

I'm just nitpicking, forgive me. The Contax G lenses and "Made in Japan" Contax SLR lenses were built by Kyocera. They were Zeiss' Japanese partner at the time (as well as Leica's partner for some R lenses). Cosina builds the ZM lenses, having partnered with Zeiss after Kyocera left the photo business.

Having said that, it's likely that the G35/2.0 and ZM 35/2.0 share the same optical formula.

Thanks.

The 35mm is the only lens missing in my lens line up for my M11m. I have been looking around for a while and I have come down to two options: the CZ ZM 35mm f2 and the Summarit 35mm f2.4. I am going to probably buy this one. I love the Summarits, I had the 75mm and the 90mm summicrons, I replaced them with the equivalent Summarits, and I am very happy with my choice.

Thanks.
