Ingrid

I understand your opinion Ingrid but……..  I met this young woman and her friend who were standing by the poster and waiting to enter a shop that sells vinyl records. So, a couple of things. The portrait is in the context of where we met and can never be repeated no matter how often the young woman may be photographed in the future. The poster has been replaced several times and I don’t want to appear pretentious but I value this and others of my images because they are unique ‘snapshots’ of this interesting period of the 21st century. And of course, plain backgrounds have their place too.

i understand David         -         unfortunately i forgot that backgrounds can, must and may be part of a story    -

it is probably not just the faces with their colors and facial expressions that tell the story.....      -

thanks for the change of direction......    -
