jhluxton Posted March 18 Share #1 Posted March 18 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) When I first bought my DLux8 in December - I set it up and connected it with my Sony Xperia Android phone and found the Geotagging worked easily. However, after a couple of shooting sessions the feature stopped working. The phone is comminicating with the phone and vice versa. Phone location settings are switched on. The location symbol bottom right is shown as connected, I can control the camera remotely via Leica Fotos. - I don't want to do that just want the location setting as it will save time and be more accurate than doing it manually in Lightroom. However, the photos are not being geotagged. The problem appeared to arise after watching a video on Youtube on setting optimum options and saving them to a profile. I have not done a reset yet. I am going off on a canal cruise in a couple of weeks and I would likle to get it working again by then. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Advertisement Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Hi jhluxton, Take a look here Geotagging Via Leica Fotos app on D-Lux 8. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
udimor Posted March 19 Share #2 Posted March 19 I palso have the deluxe eight camera, and I find that when I download the pictures that were tagged, they will have the same GPS coordinates as the first picture, even though the other pictures were taken in different places. Very strange. I emailed Leica customer service and I’m waiting to hear from them. Does anybody know what to do about this?
