osaf Posted March 3 Share #12 Posted March 3 Mir ist Springbank auch sehr symphatisch, auch wenn sie ihren leicht maroden Charme regelrecht zelebrieren, so ist es doch authentisch und die Stimmung vor Ort ist sehr gut. Mal sehen, wann ich wieder vor Ort bin. Vielleicht im September, obwohl es da Richtung Orkney/Shetland gehen soll. Die Fahrt mit dem Auto nach Campbeltown (die Fähre von Ardrossan fährt ja leider nur im Sommer), um Loch Fyne herum und die Kintyre-Halbinsel herunter, wäre da ein ziemlich zeitaufwendiger Umweg. osaf Posted March 16 Share #14 Posted March 16 Von Lochranza aus gibt es mehrmals täglich eine kleine Fähre (Calmac) nach Claonaig / etwa auf Höhe von Kennacraig. Das spart etliche Meilen.... Ich sah kürzlich in einem Geschäft einige ältere Flaschen/oder deren Inhalt "Whisky" zwischen 2.000 bis 6000 € kosten sollen. ??? Marke und Alter habe ich vergessen (bin kein Whisky-Trinker). .
