I don’t really have any complaints about the v3 when used on film, and even think a rougher bokeh is good on B&W; the ASPH-II probably remains the most differentiated choice to compliment a v3. Looking forward to a flood of reviews that demonstrate the character of each version. Has anyone spoken to filter and hood compatibility of this new edition ? I'd be interested to know more about this too. If looking for character, I feel like I'd be inclined towards a true vintage with the older coatings.
