Leitzfan Posted February 9 Share #1  Posted February 9 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm sure someone else similarly posted elsewhere, but I just want to say that Don, at DAG Camera Repair / Oregon, WI 53575, USA / email: dagcam@chorus.net, does really good repair/CLA on Leica lenses--and *very* reasonably priced--& honest! I just got my Vario-Elmar R 28-70mm f/3.5-4.5 lens back from him, for a little repair/CLA. Good as new--& *absolutely* buttery smooth barrel action! Don is a former Leica repair tech.--& really knows Leica products. I highly recommend him! Note: He only works on analog equipment. And--alas, he really doesn't handle R8/R9 cameras, as, "They require specialized software...[that's no longer obtainable?]" which is the same demur that Leica Corp. gives (not his fault). 😔 Edited February 9 by Leitzfan 1 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
