I joined today after seeing this site in many searches

There is much to see here, hopefully I can contribute to the community

I have had other rangefinder cameras from 35mm to 4x5, and the FED got my interest engaged to look more closely at the Barnack Leicas.  I’ve taken a closer look

With the iiif with red dial, the early M3, and a couple of good Leicaflex SL cameras, I have been seeing the light

There is definitely something to this Leica Experience

 

I have a question about this forum website - is there a way to adjust the background/color scheme?  Is there a “dark theme” with black or dark background?

Welcome to the world of old cameras and lenses where doing the research will take you down a minefield. Wait till you discover the Reid Cameras and Taylor Hobson lenses  

Can't help you about settings - I prefer black text on white background.

Welcome to the forum! The forum admin has said that with the next big update for the forum software there will be a dark mode. The update has been announced, but he won't be updating right away, as not all the necessary extensions are available yet.
