Grazie. Translation: Hi, I have a wonderful mp240, like new, I always protect it with a soft cloth and use it with white cotton discs, unfortunately I'm starting to see worn areas, this irritates me a lot, because such an expensive camera should have such a poor quality paint, I don't want a decadent and worn appearance, this irritates me, then the camera is subject to depreciation. andybarton Posted January 28 Share #3 Posted January 28 If the camera is black paint, it will wear with age. Mine has. It’s nothing to worry about, and if you ever come to sell it, won’t affect the value very much unless it’s really bad. The chrome cameras don’t wear like black paint ones do. jaapv Posted January 28 Share #4 Posted January 28 There are quite a few owners who prefer a brassed (worn) black paint camera. Leica sells cameras to be used, and use leaves traces.
