Van Wolff Posted January 26 Share #1 Posted January 26 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi all, I’ve noticed that my DLux 8 takes quite some time to shut down. It switches on and the lens pops out immediately but switch off takes differing lengths of time even if no settings have changed. Is this the same on yours if you have one? Any response much appreciated. Van
Advertisement Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Hi Van Wolff, Take a look here DLux8 switch off time. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stuny Posted January 26 Share #2 Posted January 26 I suspect it could be due to what setting you have the zoom lens at.
RedBus Posted January 26 Share #3 Posted January 26 I had the same problem but using the menu to remove the connection of Leica Fotos has resulted in almost immediate shut down. If I'm down loading pictures I simply turn the connection on again and close it it before turning eh camera off.
fred67 Posted January 27 Share #4 Posted January 27 RedBus is right, turning camera off is very long if Leica Fotos app connection is working
Van Wolff Posted January 27 Author Share #5 Posted January 27 Thanks everyone. That’s exactly what it must be as I’ve just used the Fotos app for the first time too. I also noticed that if you power the camera up and down straight away it gets confused but if left on for 10 seconds or longer it shuts down more quickly.
