LEICA SUPER-ELMAR-M 18 mm f/3.8 ASPH. Replacement Lens Cap for 12463 Hood

Hello!  I've been searching, but cannot find the model # and potential alternative for my lost Lens Cap for 12463 Hood.

The really useful wiki doesn't list it.

I contacted OTECT and they do not have an M-CAP planned for the 18mm.  They are considering making one for the WATE hood.  I have their cap for my 35/1.4 and love it.

I live in Phoenix and don't use a filter for the 18, so I depend on the cap to keep out sand.

I tried making a silicone cover without much success.

Recommendations appreciated.

I've lost two of these damn caps! Looking for one myself. If you or anybody else can confirm the cap # is 14480 there are a few on eBay at the moment. One seller has three left. Thing is the box says it's for the 24/1.4, though the listings says it also fits the 18. Just not sure who to believe, and can't find the official Leica word on it. They are asking with shipping around $60 so want to be sure! Currently it resides in its own little neoprene case when not on the camera.

A quick easy search on google says that the cap #14480 is the same for the 24/1.4 and the 18/3.8. This is based on info from B&H and Leica. Could be wrong, but I don't think it is.
