Ben- I'll make sure to keep my cameras away from her.

Having said that, not too long ago I left my 8X42 Trinovids outside my tent & a hyaena got hold of them, the binocs. survived the attack, they still have the tooth marks on them, other than that there was no other damage! I did write to Leica at the time and commended them for making a strong pair of binocs.

Mike -

Superb capture, framing, light, color and details. In the Okavango Delta in October a large spotted hyena came into our braii and stole some meat off the grill. Beautiful, slender Suzette chased him off. He had his revenge, though, by going into Suzette's office during the night and crewing up a leatherbound book of hers. I’ll bet your hyena was attracted to the leather on your binocs.

Stuart- I wish it was me that "beautiful slender Suzette" was chasing rather than the hyaena!

You're right about the hyaena & leather, my bincos were in their leather case under my ex-girlfriend's leather flying jacket, both never been seen since- the case & jacket I mean........ I wish the hyaena had taken her too!

Thanks for the feedback on the pic, much appreciated.

MIKE
