The page says, “Auto/Manual Modes: Full control at your fingertips,” but do any of these flashes have TTL that works with Leica? I have the iM30 which works strictly in manual mode with my Q343. ianforber Posted January 2 Share #3 Posted January 2 I don’t use flash but that iM20 looks worth having in your pocket
Dave V Posted January 3 Share #4 Posted January 3 Nowhere does it mention TTL support, so I'm assuming they are manual only. They emphasized a single center hot pin making it compatible with many cameras. I'm going to grab an IM20 to try out. For $34 it's worth having in the bag. Being rated at 440 shots on a full charge with a 3 second recovery between shots, it should work for what I need on the rare occasion. In fact, if I got 250 shots per charge in real world performance, I'd be a happy camper.

stuny Posted January 3 Share #7 Posted January 3 Advertisement (gone after registration) I like that the iA32 has a flash head you can rotate on the vertical axis.

Deciding between the IM20 and the IM22 for my Leicas but worried the IM20 may sit too close to the camera and cast a shadow if I’m shooting with a 50mm Summicron

Deciding between the IM20 and the IM22 for my Leicas but worried the IM20 may sit too close to the camera and cast a shadow if I’m shooting with a 50mm Summicron I did get it and tried it on my Q3 and my S5IIX with a 50mm S Lumix lens. It is a simple flash and completely manual, so there is a little guesswork involved. I start on 50% power and take a test shot or two to adjust from there. It's just OK, in that it's very direct light (I have the im20), but really wanted it for family snapshots in darker places and for that it does the job for up to about 8 ft away
