While getting an adapter serviced at Rayqual’s workshop here in Tokyo they showed me new adapter rings which they’ve released now. They’re meant for digital M only. Maybe once my Barnack returns from a perpetual overhaul I’ll get a collapsible and give it a go if I can convince myself I’m disciplined enough not to collapse the lens on my m10-m.

The adapters shown in your link are specially made for older 35 or 50mm Elmar lenses with the so called 11 o‘clock position of the focussing tab. All other adapters - even from Leitz - have no spareout at this position and so won‘t allow the lenses focus to infinity (if you don‘t remove the focussing knob).

They should work as well with lenses which have the normal 7 o‘clock position, but the spareout at the lower position isn‘t as long as with Leitz adapters. So the sensor for the 6-bit code is still covered.

The design is rather complicated but diligently done. Unfortunately they seem to be unavailable in Europe.
