BernardC Posted December 23, 2024 Share #2 Â Posted December 23, 2024 One trick is to have the horizon go through the middle of your image. This will keep it straight.
redrocksjoe Posted December 23, 2024 Share #3  Posted December 23, 2024 (edited) As a recent covert to the L-Mount, I loved the 8MM 1.8 Olympus lens, I've had the Sigma 15mm in my cart for like 2 months Thanks for sharing the pic of your full frame fisheye. It looks way smaller than the Sigma, which is honestly the only reason I haven't bought the sigma yet. I might have to look for an elmarit 16mm R used.  -Joe Edited December 23, 2024 by redrocksjoe

adan Posted December 23, 2024 Share #5 Â Posted December 23, 2024 W. Eugene Smith has the imaginatio0n to use the same lens (in its Minolta livery) for his documentary essay Minamata. (Minolta donated gear to the perennially-broke Smith to support the project). Great way to put the viewer up-close-and-personal in the middle of the action. https://www.magnumphotos.com/arts-culture/society-arts-culture/w-eugene-smith-minamata-warning-to-the-world/

redrocksjoe Posted December 31, 2024 Share #8  Posted December 31, 2024 It had been fun so far! I got a used novoflex adapter off of KEH.com and all seems to work well. Really cool colors from it too. Welcome, dear visitor!
