spydrxx Posted January 18 Share #4 Â Posted January 18 Other Leica repairpersons I trust in the US, although I don't know if they repair motors, include Sherry Krauter and Youxin Ye. Gus Lazzari recently retired and his shop doubled their repair prices, but if you're willing to spend the $ they might be worth a try also. Good luck in your quest. SOHODE Posted January 19 Author Share #6  Posted January 19 Issue within the electronics. Youxin Ye doesn't repair motors I already asked him.

Is it not switching on, is it erratic in behaviour, does it work on one camera and not another, etc. Maybe just buy another?
SOHODE Posted January 20 Author Share #8  Posted January 20 It does not turn on.
250swb Posted January 20 Share #9 Â Posted January 20 So if you can open it up there isn't much that it can be, and an electrician (if camera repair people won't take it on) with a multimeter should be able to test the circuit, switch and the motor to see which is faulty. It could be something very simple like dirty contacts or a broken solder joint somewhere but you may have a better chance with a camera repairer if you ask them to just have a look and find out what's wrong and then ask if it can be fixed. SOHODE Posted January 21 Author Share #10  Posted January 21 Rio from Red dot repair responded and said they can check it and see if it's an easy fix like cleaning switch but they won't be able to help if any replacement is needed.
