01maciel Posted December 15, 2024 Share #1 Posted December 15, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Today, on a rainy Sunday, I have a few photos to take of amplifiers and receivers that will soon be looking for a successor. In this case, it's a Yamaha R-700 receiver that still impresses today with its warm and rich sound. Do you also have old, perhaps beautiful old hi-fi boxes? Welcome, dear visitor! Someone will enjoy getting that receiver from you! I sold off my old Mac tube amps w/MR78 Tuner. Would have made a good photo. I'll take a look in the basement and see if there are any other old electronics down there.

01maciel Posted December 19, 2024 Author Share #6 Posted December 19, 2024 This is one of the gorgeous Marantz Receiver built in 1977. The sound of the model 2230b is so warm and lush. Paired with floor-standing speakers with tight bass it is a perfect match for Jazz music. But sound is subjective. Leica M10 + Voigtländer VM Nokton 35mm 1.2 ASPH. II Welcome, dear visitor!
