Leica SL2 & SL2-S ??

Hi, I am a wedding photographer, I am using leica SL2-S for my work. I heard some people say that the file quality of SL2 is better than SL2-S, is this true and should I upgrade to Sl2. What made me choose SL2-S is because the file size is lighter than SL2. I don't need to upgrade my computer. Thank you

I am an ex-wedding photographer and would not replace the 2s with the 2. If you have the budget, you could add a 2 (for portraits), but the 2s would be my primary camera.

Thank you, I really don't need too high megapixels, because 24mpx is more than enough for my work. What I'm wondering is if the colors on the SL2 are better than on the SL2-S? If it's the same then I'll be friends with the SL2-S for a long time, because I love my SL2-S so much

Personally, and very subjectively, I preferred the tones, malleability and better resistance to blown highlights in the SL2-S compared to the SL2. Which is not to say that SL2 is not a fantastic camera, but I preferred (and still have) the SL2-S. Also if you are shooting in very low light/high ISOs then SL2-S is IMO the clear winner.

This, basically. Had both, kept the 2s.

I once did a (very non scientific) test of both cameras in combination with Lightrooms AI denoise and supersize features. Download should still work, if you want to have a look (updated link in post #17).

with all the latest firmware they have aligned the colors of the 2 cameras.

That said the SL2s are more capable in lower light retaining more color after noise reduction.
