Giampi58 Posted November 22, 2024 Share #1  Posted November 22, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello. I purchased a 35/1.4 Summilux asph. n. 4236...black equipped with 12465 lens hood. I believe it is the version prior to the latest FLE, produced from 2010 to 2022. Can anyone provide news, reviews, opinions on this lens and the main differences with the very latest version? I find it excellent but I don't know the latest product. Thanks to all

jankap Posted November 22, 2024 Share #2  Posted November 22, 2024 (edited) Does the lens carry the lens code? Of course, the 70 cm minimum focus distance is a pity. I use it on a Sony with a short focus adapter. If you became the original lens cap too, please put it into your safe. The purchase price is 35 Euro. A similar one on Ebay costs around 3.50 Euro. A lens cap is a lose-friendly part.🫠Edited November 22, 2024 by jankap
evikne Posted November 22, 2024 Share #3 Â Posted November 22, 2024 (edited) The new FLE 2 has a built-in hood and 0.4 m focus limit (below 0.7 m live view only). It also has two extra aperture blades (which produce slightly rounder out-of-focus light sources / bokeh balls when stopped down). Apart from that, there should be no difference in image quality compared to your FLE 1. Edited November 22, 2024 by evikne
