I had 3GB of DNG photos when it happened,3GB over 256GB and it was full. Many 11-P users have the same issue, too.Happens only using FOTOS.

Pelu2010 Posted February 12 Share #86 Posted February 12 Hey, if you buy a small usb-c stick Like this > > https://www.mediamarkt.de/de/product/_sandisk-ultra®-dual-drive-go-2609988.html?storeId=260&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=RT_shopping_na_nsp_na_PLA+-+bluePortal+3+PMax&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAADh5KajTxhJ2j9hqwQ0B39Ftsqmxp&gclid=CjwKCAiAqrG9BhAVEiwAaPu5zmllLiNDTKIMmE0lKlW-wVhu1-SS2ZuRQ5G1gFdYrsmmtVqKLVKArxoCfKkQAvD_BwE Then you can just format the complete internal SSD and you a free to fill it up again. I use this usbc sticks as additional back up. They are small ,, I can access the images on my iPhone if I need (or android) and I don't need the camera as mass storage. cheers Peter

marchyman Posted February 12 Share #90 Posted February 12 6 hours ago, Tuan Anh said: DNG-> Internal,JPEG->SD card. Transferring images using FOTOS does not remove the DNG file you told the camera to place in internal memory. Either format the card or delete the images by using the menu after hitting the play button. Note that if there are images both on the card and in internal memory you must "delete all" twice. The first time it deletes the images on the card, the second time it deletes the images in internal memory. That's how it works on my camera where I have Internal = SD card. No,i had only 3GB of photos and it bugged full memory. Not like i had 253 GB of photos and had 3GB free left. It looks like i had full of photos but i didn’t.The screenshot on my PC just shows how the memory is bugged. Edited February 12 by Tuan Anh

This time,i don’t have any photo in internal memory,it has 0 file.Totally free of 256GB of memory.Newly format.I shoot JPEG and photos are stored in SD-card.Once again, internal memory is untouched. However when i download photos from camera using FOTOS via WIFI.it bugs internal memory to full, leading to the “internal memory full” message comes up on camera. The only way to fix it is format it and i know how to format. I always delete the photos that i don’t like.Even if i didn’t delete,i couldn’t fill up the memory.I got the camera 3 weeks ago and i don’t take photo everyday. Other M11-P users experience the same bug, too.Reported from M11 groups and other Leica community.I emailed Leica and they will look to it,hope there will be a patch coming soon. Meanwhile,i don’t store photos on internal memory or using cable to download.Only bug when using Wifi so far. Welcome, dear visitor! Using cable is so far so good or just take out the SD and use card reader.

It doesn’t 100% happen everytime, kind of random. It doesn’t occur within couple of times, sometimes it takes like 10-20 cycles or the whole week. Some 11-P users, including i are having this situation. If your camera is 11-P and this bug doesn’t bug you.Hope it never will. I use iphone 15 pro with ios 18.3.1 with updated FOTOS app. Here the another user has the same problem. Welcome, dear visitor!
