Advertisement Posted November 12, 2024 Posted November 12, 2024 Hi tinybytes, Take a look here Leica Q3 28 with the Godox r200 Ring Flash?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jaapv Posted November 12, 2024 Share #2 Posted November 12, 2024 Why do you want a flash? A LED ringlight is far more practical as you can preview the lighting.

Not sure if a led matches the output of a flash… I have the flash but use it on the SL. As it is a round flash, vignetting for sure will happen as the light falls off in a round shape. If you are worried that the flash itself will obstruct the view and therefore cause a vignette, this all depends how you position the camera in the flash. The mount is rather versatile, so one can position the camera far enough in front. this will work on a tripod, handheld will not be comfortable.
tinybytes Posted November 12, 2024 Author Share #4 Posted November 12, 2024 I Just spoke to a retailer who tried fitting the Flash/Light on the Q3 and they responded with "it doesn't fit". But works well off camera.

jaapv Posted November 12, 2024 Share #6 Posted November 12, 2024 You don't really need high power for ringflash when used for macro. Many have a guidenumber of 8 or 16. High-power ringflashes are mostly used in portrait and model photography, and those are available in LED as well. https://www.digitalcameraworld.com/reviews/lume-cube-ring-light-pro-review#section-lume-cube-ring-light-pro-review-specifications-features https://www.all-things-photography.com/aputure-amaran-halo-ahlh100-ring-light-review/
