Thanks @Leicalook, I commuted for years with an Ortieb laptop bag, which would probably fit perfectly. But alas the bike i have hear has no way to attach a rack. I was thinking of the minimalist rucksack I could use or one of those "holsters" that Think Tank or Lowe Pro makes.

Ortlieb makes great bags, for a few years when I had my OMD I used the handlebar bag with camera insert for snow biking.

Hello Joe,

I have a Lowe Pro 500 AW II for my SL equipment.

Look at koenig lenspacker, here the link : https://www.koenig-photobags.de/lenspacker0-5/, they also make holdings for a bike. The lenspacker is modular, you also use ist with a tripod holder and little bags for more equiment.

I have the lenspacker 2 for my old Leica Apo Telyt R 2,8 /400 it is great, but I not use it with a bike.

My Sigma 150-600 it's in the Lowe Po AW II, with other SL Optics.

Best regards

Christian

The 150-600 arrived and I used my Rickshaw Bagworks Medium Zero bag  https://www.rickshawbags.com/medium-zero-messenger?Add-Ons= with an Ape Case Cubeze 37 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009GA6CAW that I used for carrying the SL3 and lenses. It works!  I don't use the hood on the 150-1600 or that might be a tight fit. But I will still probably look for a backpack to carry it in, realistically this set up is fine.

I have found the perfect bag for the Leica SL3 and the Sigma 150-600 - The Thinktank Backlight Sprint https://www.thinktankphoto.com/products/backlight-sprint . It fits the lens mounted, and has room for other lenses. Plus it is absolutely comfortable on your back.

I use various Fstop bags in the “mountain series” and have been very happy with them for many years. They also have an “urban” line that might suit bike riding. I think I saw a shoulder bag if not a messenger type bag similar to an Ortlieb dry bag. Here’s their website. https://fstopgear.com/camera-bags/?gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAAC2qqex2_J-JFO0SfSmjU2Ltir6cP&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI2uWK5ejFigMVS5XuAR0EdDThEAAYASAAEgKwZ_D_BwE
