davidfung Posted November 4, 2024 Share #1 Posted November 4, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) This is my first time using a M for ‘sports’. Taken with an M11P with the APO 135mm and the EVF. Seating position was at the back of the stadium, but it was pretty small, so the object scale wasn’t too bad. But in good sun light conditions, shutter at 1/500 or 1/1000 and aperture between f/4 and f/8, the results were too bad… All uncropped with some minor colour/exposure editing in C1. Have to say that focus was a pain, and I could only prefocus and take the photos where the players were ‘still’ - so serving and receiving. Welcome, dear visitor! stuny Posted November 4, 2024 Share #3 Posted November 4, 2024 3 & 4 are my favorites since they capture more motion. Well done.
davidfung Posted November 4, 2024 Author Share #4 Posted November 4, 2024 Thanks. It was one of my first times shooting sports…. Funny to see all the other photographers with their DSLR and 300/400/500/600mm AF lens… and here I am with my manual focus M… did get a few confused looks from them.
