Unless I'm missing something in which case I chalk it up to early onset of dementia. Edited October 28, 2024 by MarcusGVA

The hell has been long here, please read the manual in heaven, where minor dementia is a quite normal symptom there I presume. It is easily actuated by accident and the only way I am able to avoid this is by foregoing use of the screen in all but replay mode. In my opinion, this feature and the lack of a double click method of resetting the replay screen to centre are the two least attractive features of the Q3, and could both be avoided by a firmware update.
