Please don’t ask me why I did it  😀

I want to share some of the images.
I like it and hope it looks ok for the first time. After modern and quality lenses to use something very different and difficult was a challenge for me but I enjoyed and hope to use it more often.

very nice shots, which lens?

Thank you.

Helios 44, 58/2. I have looked at the serial number, first two means year, mine is 78.

Some more 🙃

Lense is slightly damaged but it’s ok for me.

First image as it is, no editing.

Second image is a crop and little swirly bokeh is visible.
I know, I have to find the right background for the magical effect that lens can create. Practice is the key for beautiful photos 😉

there is also a specific distance, around 6-12ft from the camera and the target, when wide open

SL2S + Helios-44M-4 58mm f/2

I also have a Helios 40 (1963) that is a copy of the Carl Zeiss Jena 85mm f/1.5 Biotar.

(I normally use it with my Leica SL2-S.)

Pete.

I think to use it on the same camera. Mine hasn’t been back yet from Germany repair shop.

Trying something new can be such a rewarding challenge! It’s great to hear you enjoyed stepping out of your comfort zone. Would love to see the images you captured—bet they turned out amazing for your first time with a different setup! My younger brother was struggling with his custom essay assignment, so I helped him find this https://academized.com/write-my-essay service. They provided an excellent essay that met all his specifications and even included additional references to strengthen the arguments. He received top marks and was incredibly thankful for the support. This service is a reliable resource for students looking for quality work that’s tailored to their needs.

Breath-taking photos. I mean it is called talent which for me some new photographers don't have. They just use costly products but they don't know how to use them. But not all :)
