You just need to see if the rf arm is moving. Just give it gentle nudge back and forth, nothing to break if you just carefully do it with your finger. Could be sticky or something worse. I did have one lens (an old 135mm) that would not engage the rf lever in my M10 but worked just fine on every other body I tried it on (such as my Mono and the dealer's M). There's some very fine tolerances going on. But if it just stopped working one day then most likely sticky or stuck.

Those were the days, we bought 100 foot rolls of tri-x and rolled our own, less than 2 cents a frame after the costs of roll film holder and spools were paid.
