SoCalLeicanator Posted October 20, 2024 Share #1 Posted October 20, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Here’s a question for the group: This time of year I take my kiddo for a very bumpy hayride on a pretty rutted road. We don’t get going too fast but there are some pretty good bumps, and it’s constant jiggle. Would that damage the IS on an Sl2-S? I read somewhere that the IS should be off in these situations to prevent damage. I did it last year without harm but wondering if it was an example of better to be lucky than good, Thanks! Virob Posted October 20, 2024 Share #2 Posted October 20, 2024 So far so good after 1000s of kms on rough backroads.
jaapv Posted October 21, 2024 Share #3 Posted October 21, 2024 It should be OK, I never had an IBIS broken in Landrovers taken to the limit but it might be a good idea to make sure that the camera is switched off.
