I attempted to fill out a Leica Survey re: Video use of Leica cameras sent to me this morning, but after a few of the questions didn’t offer answers I agreed with (and didn’t allow skipping to next question) I gave up. Is there a better way to give feedback? Does Leica read these forums?

For context, I have directed, directed photography, and produced hundreds of hours of television shows, we shoot with Arriflex, Sony, and Canon cameras. I purchased my Q343 as a personal stills camera but would love for Leica to spec such cameras up enough to use professionally for video.

I have long been of the opinion that Leica’s surveys are put together by the office boy in intervals between making tea, or are carefully structured to yield the results that Leica wants to support some course of action on which they are already decided.

Best wishes,

Alan J

After the last question there is a link to the SL2-s, this survey is a disguised promotion to sell remaining inventory.

Ah, that makes sense, I must have been especially gullible this morning.

Please disregard original question.

Leica just does not seem to want to accept the fact that some of us aren't "video guys (or gals)" and that our interest in the M system is exclusively for making still images.
