Much smaller than the Leica version, It has a really nice feel and having used it now for a month and a half shows no sign of coming loose. Welcome, dear visitor! Also considering the squarehood mini, how do you like it compared to 10-12 mm options? Would love to see more pics of your camera!

Would love to see more pics of your camera! steel wool or scotchbright off the original brass coating (get down to the actual brass,) then about 5 coats (1 min each) of Birchwood Casey Brass Black, then use camera as normal, the distressed patina will happen. I think the square hood mini soft shutter button is the perfect size, just large enough to find it quickly when looking through evf but not so large it’s pressed accidentally. I also distressed the lens cap. Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! jaapv Posted February 12 Share #25 Posted February 12 Shutter buttons negate the design of the camera. If one wants to release smoothly, the intention of Leica is to rest the finger on the collar of the shutter release and the finger tip in a relaxed manner on the release itself. That way you will only have to twitch the finger minimally to release the shutter avoiding motion blur; after a while you will only have to think "click" and the image will be taken. Auxiliary buttons, however popular (that is why Leica provides the thread), invite the user to jab the shutter which will result in rotational blur.
