Leicaboy Norway Posted October 9, 2024 Share #1 Posted October 9, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) It seems the Q3 43 hasn't been in stock yet in Norway. In Sweden people tell me it was in stock in the start of last week. But I pre ordered in Norway weeks ago, so I know they haven't arrived in a small quantum and then been emptied out. What's the status elsewhere?

What's the status elsewhere? According to the Norwegian retailers, the shipment has been delayed (once again). Been told that Monday 14th is their current estimate. Tseg Posted October 9, 2024 Share #9 Posted October 9, 2024 I've already resigned myself to not seeing mine until December in the US... it looks like pre-order wave wiped all out on first day.
hoolyproductions Posted October 9, 2024 Share #10 Posted October 9, 2024 Last time I checked two stores in Finland both had stock (Rajala and Kameraliike). I was planning to do a trade-in with Rajala for my M11 but last week decided to order directly from Leica Austria (Vienna store) - they already had stock and ship across the EU. I wanted to avoid the same situation I have with the SL3 (ordered from a Finnish store and I still don't have it). Ironically those two stores both got stock the next day after I had placed the order 😄 My Q43 arrived yesterday.

Would explain the time in customs perhaps.

But that’s pure speculation. Let´s hope Bresson AS manages to finally deliver both our cameraes on Monday🤞
Cogito Posted October 9, 2024 Share #13 Posted October 9, 2024 Q343 was available at Leica store here in Los Angeles from launch day until yesterday, they were allocated 75 cameras and only now sold out. Way better rollout here than Q328

Tseg Posted October 9, 2024 Share #16 Posted October 9, 2024 In New York they were sold out within 4 hours of launch. My vendor told me today they spoke with Leica this morning and my camera likely would not be available for 2-3 months.

It's not only the focal length we wanted but also an apo lens.
