Member Mark Bloomer and I were on a wander-shoot on morning, and stopped to speak with this couple while on the High Line Park

The High Line Park, one of the most popular destinations in New York City, was a brilliant idea to repurpose a mile or so of no longer used elevated railway into a park.  The park itself is quite lovely, with well maintained "wild" plantings, sculptures (changed periodically) and pleasant seating areas.  Establishing the park had the side benefit of greatly renovating the neighborhoods it passes through and over.  If you visit New York, go early in the day - the earlier the better.  By afternoon its popularity makes it quite crowded.  Here's a link to its site:  https://www.thehighline.org/
