It's obvious that you can push ISO far more than here. Might try that, then f8 and hopefully shorter exposures will increase resolution sharpness. Any suggestions for ISO setting?

I live in a fishing and lumbering town, or village.  It is ~10,000 in population.  Those jobs are the two most dangerous in the country, but it is what folks do here.  I live just up the hill from the West Mooring Basin so I shoot a lot pf photos there.  It is what I have to shoot.  So here is a photo of the pulling tug Aqua, moored for a few days.  We had a series of bomb cyclones and perhaps she was looking for a safe hidey-hole.  I just liked the color and light and snapped it.  SOOC  Reduced to thumbnail size in GIMP.  Full moon thrown in for free.

I go to 25,000, but have to be careful lifting shadows, even after Lightroom AI noise reduction.

This will be my last post on this thread, as I have sold my Q3 43.

It is an incredible camera, with an incredible lens.  It is lightweight, agile and fun to use.  But, alas, it's not for me.

However, I have tagged this thread so that I can follow the great imagery that is being posted here.  Keep up the good work!
