Moonrise over the volcano? ISO 5000, f/4, 1/60s.

Where/how was this taken? I'm having trouble deconstructing it with those structures at the top obscuring the light!

Based on 50 pages of posted photos I'm still not confident about rendering of this camera/lens. More Panasonic than Leica "look". I try very hard to find some "magic"... I really was prepared to trade in my M Summilux 50 Asph for this Q, but I will wait a little bit more before making conclusions. Rendering seems sharp and contrasty, but without "wow" factor (famous, non scientifically proven Leica look😅). Maybe is just (odd) focal length, who knows.

Don't overthink it. Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. Always has been. Always will be.

It is of course nothing to do with a volcano. It is, however, a light installation at the 'Glow Wild' event at Wakehurst Place in Sussex UK where active volcanos are of course few and far between.

It just amused me and put me in mind of a moonrise over a volcano.

Lovely picture of Felix, but not sure if he would be happy to see the right eye out of focus 🙂 🙂

Another pretty heavily cropped image of Melbourne and the Polly Woodside Park next to the Yarra River, from 66 floors up and behind a grubby window. The APO-Summicron 43 is a fantastic lens. ISO100, F/2 & 1/1,000.

A great shot, but a bit too yellow-green? What WB is this and have you adjusted the colours?
