Your Lightroom work is extraordinary. I, for one, would be interested if you'd be willing to share how much you increased brightness/exposure in LR, or if you use a different technique, thx.

Thank you very much for your feedback, much appreciated! As I don't have any secrets regarding my workflow, I dearly share some details here:

Exposure: +2.75

Contrast: +20

Highlights: -50

Shadows: +69

Whites: +4

Blacks: -25

White Balance was changed from 3.100 to 2.439 (temperature) and +7 to +4 (tint).

I applied a brush mask in the top left corner and slightly reduced highlights and exposure to get a more evenly lit scene. Than I removed some skin blemishes and finally used AI denoise. There might be some more slight changes in the picture, as I used a previously build preset as a base for the processing.

merci. one more question if I may, was the photo extremely noisy before you AI denoised?

You both stop talking. Just show me your photos…

Funny, I was going to request that people give more context and/or technical detail so we might enjoy and learn how to use these cameras better. Thought that was the whole point of this thread.

Starlite Theatre in Brenham, Texas. It's been there forever, and keeps gradually falling further into ruin.

FYI… We couldn't stop the car to take this picture (it would have been nearly impossible to get back onto the highway at this hour), so I shot it facing almost backwards through the open window of the car while going about 70mph. Not the best scenario, but I'm happy with the shot.

Very impressive pictures, one can truly feel the energy of them. May I ask how high the reject rate in your shooting was?

Surprisingly, there were few if any rejects because of autofocus issues. I didn't specifically tally it but I would say definitely less than 10% rejects and I'd wager even less than 5%. Qualitatively, I found myself with the difficulty of culling down photos from the take rather than chasing for good ones. That said, I don't take a huge number of frames...just a short burst of 3-4 frames and that's it.

Here are a few more. Yes, they are very energetic 😜
