luigi bertolotti Posted December 29, 2007 Share #24 Posted December 29, 2007 Doc... which are the places in your last two pics ? The first one, with glace in foreground, remembers to me some area in Central Italian Alps (Adamello and/or Ortler), but the wondeful secon paysage on the contray has "something Dolomitic" ... But I'm too tied to Italian Alps... can be they are from all another country. This is at the top of Latemar Group, next to the famous "Karersee"... a splendid September day. Welcome, dear visitor! Doc Henry Posted December 30, 2007 Author Share #33 Posted December 30, 2007 Thank you Luigi, Excellent mountain landscapes especially "Sfulmini peaks"and "superb peak in Zillertaler Alpen" ! good capture ! I think the Alpes Italian or Austrian side is also very beautiful (like you show through your pictures)and generally all the mountains give us the imposing strength of the nature An other picture of Aravis...with a little foggy that day with the same camera I climbed up to the pass (in the center of the picture for 4 hours walk) Bonne Année Luigi Welcome, dear visitor! luigi bertolotti Posted December 30, 2007 Share #34 Posted December 30, 2007 Compliments for your views Doc, et bonne anneè a toi aussi !!! (Today, btw, it's also my birthday... so same dinner for end of the year and of my year) I admit that one of the Alpine areas I do not know at all is just the one you depicted so well... from Mont Blanc to east I have been in lot of places (Italian, Suisse, Austria...), but to West and Southwest... nothing... I saw the French-Italian border peaks only from planes...
