Brand New M11P will not connect to FOTOS

Doesn't connect by cable (from SL3) as one did not come with M11P.  Also will not connect via bluetooth.  Did forget device on iPhone but "Delete Device" isn't selectable in the camera menu.  I can't remember what the third trouble shooting thing was in the FOTOS app.  It went away when in the process of doing the others and can't figure out how to get it back.  I just did the update and no change.

Did you maybe try

- to delete your App and re-install

- In your BlueTooth settings of your phone: Throw out the M11-P

- in your camera: Save your profiles and then set the camera back to factory settings

- try to re-connect

AND IT WILL WORK 😇

That was the last thing that solved my problems.

Is there a choice for “factory settings?”  I sis not see that but did reset whatever after the update. Plus, it would not connect via cable prior to. I really dont want to delete the app then I will have to reconnect all of them but I guess if I have to.

Thanks all, got it.  Had to delete the app.  FYI for the next literal person like myself it is not "factory settings" it says "Reset Camera" then "reset camera settings - yes or no."  I figured since it's German and so many people said factory settings there was an option for that.

You should also let Leica know so that can update their firmware instructions, lol.

😆 I should!  I am sure there are others that have looked forever for "factory settings."  I am so careful with everything and follow instructions almost literally when dealing with cameras, computers any electronics really.  One wrong step can send you in a terrible direction.
