I almost always use single point focusing but my Q2M can be really frustrating at times because, having used the controller to put the fp where I want it, it often jumps back to where it started or to some other point in the viewfinder screen.  It can take quite a few repeated attempts before it finally stays long enough at the place I want it for me to be able to take the shot.  Is there something in the menus that I might have missed or does the camera require attention?

You’re not missing anything, it’s a known issue

Thanks Gotium.  I wasn't aware of that.  I'll see what I can find on it.

"Wandering focus point" - most seem to think it happens when you inadvertently touch the screen, but I'm convinced I've seen it happen in real-time when nothing was touching the screen at all. I think It happens with the Q2, Q2M and the CL, maybe also the Q. Not aware of any solution.
