ALScott Posted September 12, 2024 Share #1 Posted September 12, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Any of you guys with both lenses ever travel with both? I am headed out west in two weeks and will probably need the 150-600 more. I love the Vario 100-400 and could see it coming in handy on its own but the 150-600 will probably cover all I need for both. The 100-400 is easier to hand hold. I could pack both but it would be a bit of a chore to do so. I will also have my 24-90.

I sold the 100-400 when I got the 150-600 because I knew I would never use it again, there is too much of an overlap. I now have the 28-70, 70-200 and 150-600 as a perfect trinity. I was already thinking of selling the 100-400. The only thing holding me back is the wonderful performance of the lens and it was the first Leica lens I bought. I can be overly sentimental. I don't want to rent things as I want the shots I take to be with gear I own. Silly, I know but it is what it is.
