TL lenses and burst rate

Hello, this is a bit off-topic and apologies if not the correct place to ask.

I have a CL camera and tried the CL 55-135mm lens on a SL3 camera but the fastest frame rate I can get with the SL3 camera to shoot at is 7 fps. 

I can't seem to work out how to get SL3 to shoot at 9 or 15fps? Anyone else found this to be true?
