Hello everyone - overall I’m really enjoying the new camera and it pairs up well with my M’s for travel etc when I don’t want to bring an SL3.

However, one massively irritating thing is that you can’t double tap to re-centre the focus point. The only way round it is to select a profile again, the downside is that if you’ve saved it in the wrong place (the focus point in the profile) then you have to manually move it back to centre.

Does anyone know of a way round this? Very unlike Leica considering the Q’s and SL’s work this way ie double tap to centre.

Thanks

Then you adjust the focus point position and resave the profile with the changes you made.

Yes quite but you have to fiddle about to find 'centre' rather than say a Q3 when you just double tap and you're there. Or of course if you're way off then just elect the profile again but it's all a faff really.

Yes this is one of those minor things that can drive you nuts in day-to-day.

There is only one unexplained reference to this in the user manual pg 76 that frankly adds confusion.
