Should you decide to make a Q3 with a longer focal length, I propose the following:

The 28mm and the new one should be exactly identical except for the lens (and the digital crop). That will make it easy to cary both and act quickly. Otherwise it will be confusing.

And, here is a great feature request: You should be able to designate one of the cameras as “Master”, meaning that all settings of that camera will be transmitted (Bluetooth) to the other camera. Then you have same settings for exposure, focus, etc. etc.

You may laugh, but just think of it… a perfect Q for sports and wildlife… 🤪

When the quality matches, it would be worth it. But at what point do other combinations make more sense? S5II + ?

Fuji also offers this for the x100 series, but I myself, never bought those add-ons, but I guess there might be some people who would buy it.

To me, the difference between the panasonic or an SL, is form and haptics. The Q is a rather amazing and complete camera, especially since it weatherproof, and the only thing what didn’t work for me is 28mm.

The SL as well, but to me, that’s my working camera, not something to lug around all the time.

I had an X100F for a while, and bought both converters. I hardly ever used them, because they were large and they unbalanced the camera. The teleconverter in particular was quite unwieldy. With a camera as heavy as the Q, these wouldn't be practical. (IMHO)
