You have hundred(s) choices of 28mm lenses.

Only old 28mm Elmarit lenses, not all only those with protruding optics at rear like one of these:

Yes, as per above advice, avoid lenses that have big protruding elements. you also don’t have the framelines but using the whole viewfinder is not too far off. The m5 is a superb user camera with polarising looks and looks are important in the Leica world.
