Kurvitasch Posted August 22, 2024 Share #1  Posted August 22, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi all, just has this happen. I turned the camera on and the rear screen started scrolling and glitching. I turned it off and on again and all seems ok now. Is this something anyone else has seen and should I be worried? (I am a bit worried but accept that all things electric have their moments). Any advice/observations gratefully received, thanks. Welcome, dear visitor! Stuart Richardson Posted August 22, 2024 Share #2 Â Posted August 22, 2024 I have never seen that happen. If you show it to Leica, I assume they are going to ask you to send it in. If you have warranty still, you might consider doing so. I would probably just do what you have done, which is wait and see if it happens again. Hopefully it is just a fluke of some kind. (static electricity, computer glitch etc). But if it keeps happening, my guess is that there is a hardware fault in the screen.

Hi Pieter, please can you point me in the right direction (new user) of the correct forum, I thought the SL System forum would be appropriate? Many thanks for responding. It hasn't happened again but there's always doubt. I am lucky in that I've never had a failure of any system in many years of photography with pretty much every brand, just sold up and changed to Leica and this happened. Oh well. Photoworks Posted August 24, 2024 Share #10 Â Posted August 24, 2024 I think it is probably one of the ribbon cables not been lined up. I had it happen on the Visoflex with the M10r. Â Looks like the connection is not stable.
