Leica D-Lux 8, a real Leica?

My last Leica was the X Vario, but not popular. I loved it but it was stolen .

I have the iPhone 15 Pro Max which I use for ProRez log for videos.

Thinking for photos the D-Lux 8 my be better than my iPhone.

thoughts on this? Or should I wait for rumored Q-E to come out this year?

Compare the size of the sensor! But what do you mean with better?

The photos will be much higher quality from the D-Lux 8. However this will only materialise in full screen view. If you only look at photos on your iPhone you won’t see a difference

I use my iPhone 15 camera for work related use, which is fine but nothing more. 

The DLux 8 is a joy to use and adds so much more to the experience. No going back for me.
