Anyone having trouble saving the date & time on their new D-Lux 8? I've used the app to sync as well as manually setting it, and it continues to reset back to the wrong time.

Hi, here no issues at all. I suggest you reset the camera (last menu option). Also Remove battery and wait a few sec and put it in again. Let us know the result.

Use the camera menu to set the time and date.

The internal battery needs to be fully charged up to avoid losing things like date and time. Leave your main battery in the camera as that will charge the internal battery, and carry a fully charged spare with you. As this is a Panasonic battery and there are copies everywhere (Jupiter?) it’s not an expensive safety precaution.

I've tried everything and it is still stuck on the wrong date.  Has anyone fixed this?

I don't need to fix it. It works properly.

Yeah i have the same problem - even after the new firmware update
