Leica CL magnified AF ceased working recently and I've checked to make sure it's switched ON in 'Focus Assist'. Also tried turning mag focus OFF,  switching camera OFF, switching camera ON again, and resetting mag AF focus to ON again – but mag AF still not available. The anomaly appears to have started following purchase of a s/h Sigma 23mmm F1.4 but initially the lens did enable magnified AF.  Camera firmware is 4.1; lens firmware is 1.0. I've tried the TL 11-23mm, TL 18mm, and Sigma and Panasonic L mount lenses; mag AF not available with any lens. I've gently cleaned the camera's lens contacts using ECLIPSE cleaning fluid and also tried using various reformatted SD cards and three different batteries – but the anomaly persists.  Also reset the camera twice. Reluctant to ask Leica UK (Leica Duke Street supplied the camera) because CL is out of warranty; do not want to risk being without the CL for the anticipated many months repair backlog. Can anyone suggest any work-around to enable mag AF to function again?  Thank you.

You mean the magnified view in manual focus mode? I just checked and it's working fine in my camera and lenses. Note I have camera FW 4.1 and lenses 2.0. I thought you needed lens firmware 1.1 for camera 4.1.

Thank you and will investigate CL lens firmware further.

Apologies as I confused myself when activated magnified live view using the Sigma 23/1.4. Not sure how I managed to do this unless inadvertently set manual focus.  CL firmware is OK.   No further action required.
