LCD Display for Leica X or Vario

I need an LCD Display for my Leica X Vario 107. Should be the same display as with the Leica X 113. Unfortunately hard to find. Does anyone know if compatible displays are used in other Cameras? So my search base would be broader. Thanks!

Even if LCDs look the same they are not the same. The firmware needs to recognize the version in order for it to work. So you need to have a bit of luck when replacing it.

Thanks for the info, I am already looking on ebay for a broken X Vario with a functional display, would be the safe side.

I know how tough it can be to track down specific parts like that. When I had to replace a screen on my own camera, I started by looking at other Leica models with similar specs to see if the parts were interchangeable. It helped me expand the search, and I even got advice from a repair shop that cross-referenced parts for me. It might be worth reaching out to one of those places to help broaden your options!
