tappan Posted August 7, 2024 Share #1 Â Posted August 7, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Has anybody had a CLA on their M10? Do they still put on a new leatherette or is it just a check, clean, adjust and lube? Anybody know how much money it is these days? Thank you, Mark
Advertisement Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 Hi tappan, Take a look here M10-P CLA service. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
EricJangg Posted August 27, 2024 Share #2  Posted August 27, 2024 I recently (on August 8th, 2024) dropped off my Leica M10-P for repair and a CLA (Clean, Lubricate, Adjust). The problem I was experiencing involved the LCD, and according to Leica USA, it was caused by an issue with the image processing motherboard. The new board costs about $650 USD, plus a service fee of $670. The invoice includes cleaning, adjusting the rangefinder, adjusting the sensor, and several other services. Without the motherboard issue, I assume the fee would be close to $700 USD (including $50 for new leatherette, which I believe is necessary since it needs to be removed for the repair). However, I’ve heard somewhere that the total cost of CLA might be around $900 USD.

Only if there is a specific problem. I would never hand my camera to Leica for months on end and a hefty bill if there is no need. 5
