This is a bad thread. I could fill it in one session. I printed multiple books on my dogs, and you want me to post 'a'  picture!

Exercising great restraint, I shall post the most recent image of Jupiter, and 'paws' my rush to post more.

Our Rescue, 'Scrap'.

She had been abandoned - in the proverbial sack - as a 2-to-3-month old kitten in a local scrap-yard (hence the name) and was taken-in by our neighbour. Unfortunately just a few months later our neighbour died. Having checked-out her options she decided to adopt us as her members of staff and moved in.

She's a European Short-Hair Calico and is the sweetest-natured cat I've ever known.

A couple of snaps;

FWIW the pics were simply taken as test-snaps to see how a couple of lenses rendered at Max. Ap. and Min. Focus on the M-D Typ-262. Top shot was taken with a 50mm f1.1 7Artisan and the second with a 1953 50mm f1.5 Summarit (M).

So that'll be Marks and Spencer?...(Sorry!)...

Love the top pic, maciel; He looks very deep in thought. I do hope the scratches weren't made by a cat?!...

LOL! I never intended to restrict anyone to just one image of their loved one. I certainly intend to post more images of my beloved Maggie May. Maybe we can limit ourselves to a couple of photos a day. lol. I was surprised to find that there was no thread for pets, and I'm still surprised that no one ever thought of it before since pet owner are devoted to their loved ones. At any rate, I hope every pet lover finds some enjoyment in this thread.

No these aren't the same two cats as above...these two older guys were inherited earlier from a deceased relative and a kid at college who couldn't take his cat. Leitz 50/2 Summicron V1 Collapsible on an Olympus E-Pl2

To be honest, RSH,  there have been quite a few threads where members were invited to post pictures of their 'non-humanoid' friends but possibly not one quite so specific as the one you have now started so Thanks for Doing So and I have no doubt whatsoever that many here will be more than willing to share photographs of their chums!

Two-or-thereabouts-per-day sounds very reasonable!

Philip.

In 1970 my wife surprised me with Pasha, who was deaf, but otherwise a perfectly normal cat.
