BWColor Posted July 31, 2024 Share #1 Posted July 31, 2024 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) I just setup a new 27” OLED monitor (on the left) with an older 32” backlit white LED monitor (Lightroom Loop). Both are close to 100% Adobe RGB and were calibrated using a new Calibrite Display Plus HL Colorimeter using D50/120lumen/Gamma2.2. The iPhone image shows the very different presentation. I recalibrated, verified that the correct data used.. The capture was made with an M11 Monochrome .. Where do I go from here? Sure looks like the left monitor is D50 and the right D65… Welcome, dear visitor! jaapv Posted July 31, 2024 Share #2 Posted July 31, 2024 I would ask this question with the customer service of Calibrite. Something is definitely wrong here.
mujk Posted July 31, 2024 Share #3 Posted July 31, 2024 Yes, there is definitely something wrong with the calibration of at least one of the monitors, but it is hard to tell where the problem is. There are many possibilities, including monitor settings having changed after completed calibration, failure to load calibration data (into the computer graphics card or into the monitor) etc.
BWColor Posted July 31, 2024 Author Share #4 Posted July 31, 2024 I’m not sure what went wrong, but the larger LG previously used proprietary calibration settings and it seems that it was set to D65. I completely reset the monitor to eliminate any presets and was able to get both monitors calibrated as D50.
